Well, I have a MPD18 and I would like to turn their pads into effects (dub siren, lasers etc).
Can you please explain how to map it?

    I run a Traktor 2.6.8. and Pioneer DDJ T1

im LOVNG this one, however i was thinking about how to make it sound more "organic" if that makes sense, i have 3 unused knobs on my Xone 1D and i would like to use one as the macro, one for speed and one for pitch control, ive been playing with the mapping but cantquite figure it out yet... which effect is controlling the pitch? is it the transopose or the peak filter? also i cant control the speed with knob 3 on FX bank 1... what am i doing wrong? any hint appreciated...

Yeah Stewe if you could make a step by step tutorial on how to make that effect that would be so awesome. I've been trying it myself but I just don't understand it

    You the man!

Default Tape Delay Mapping for K2

I don't have a K2 you will need to work with me and answer this questions so I could know what is the best way to go about this mapping

    1) How would you use this effect? (single knob or knob+button) (affect only a track decks, or instead, trigger a sound in a remix deck and further modulate it with a knob) - Either or don't mind. Trigger affects the track decks. Not remix deck for now.
    2) Would it be as add-on feature in to your custom mapping? Yes will be mapped to my effect parameter permanently. Until i find a way to make all the mappings work together.
    3) What is the Traktor version and mapping do you currently use for K2? Latest version 2.9.0 Traktor Pro 2.
    4) Some other ideas?
Mapped your mapping but did not get the kind of effect you achieved out of it.
The K2 is a solely individual controller and has be to mapped from scratch with all buttons and used as a midi controller for user defined mapping with TSI unlike the Native instruments pre mapped controllers. So we might have to understand how the X1 is mapped and then put ur mapping on top of it for it to work on the K2.

Hence we need to look at it a differently. Please feel free to ask me any questions even i have been trying to get this working on my K2 since 2 weeks now.
I use extreem mapping for ease of mapping.
    Thanks in Advance

    Hello,

I love this effect, but I have a doubt mapping it: If I understood right, it uses 2 components: one button Effect ON/reset button and one Knob (smart knob).

How can I map an FX Button to a knob? I'm trying to map it on x1 but it says "inapropiate control".

Maybe it's an stupid question... but I'm lost

    Thankyou in advance

    Hi!

I assume you are trying to map this to some of NI controller default mappings? If so, the faders will always give you that error when you try mapping any button type command. What you should do is to create a button which activates FX state and then use a fader mappings to modulate the parameters in a way that you can see in the video.

Sounds like he's using a tape delay in a similar sound, only without the Transpose sweep. But, he uses the Bouncer effect (single mode) instead of micro loops. but you can also combine with loops and make ultrafine adjusts and pitch it with a Key knob - which is what the bouncer effect really is.
So it's Bouncer (unit1) in front of the Tape Delay (unit2) And a T3 Reverb at the end!
What controller do you map this for?

hey Stewe did you make this mapping? im so interested in try to map something similar with adding an iceverb hope you answer :$

    Hey Martin,
That post is several years old and far as I can recall I never completed that mapping. It shouldn't be hard to accomplish though, with all the parameters given in this thread you just need to add an IceVerb mappings and assign them for FX unit #3 or #4.

I'm glad you liked that! You can find all info on that concept in this thread.
