Have you tried to map the "FX Store Preset"??

If not just assign it to your button where you have 'effect selector' and 'effect On' commands. This command can help you to load new effect and activate it in a single button press. Should do the trick.

Add In > FX Unit > FX Store Preset

And thank you for your nice comment. I'm always glad to help when ever I can.

OK - downloaded your mapping, read than remapped it to my Twister and tested it out. And there was no issue with audio.

But I can see modifiers are involved after all. They shouldn't be a problem if your computer's OS is nicely optimized for audio applications. But if there are some problems in your OS than they can be heavy on your CPU.

Try it without the modifiers. If the problem remains there surely is and issue with OS.

    Default Joris voorn awesome effect!

    Hi guys!

I'm new to this forum and damn! what an awesome thread!

I was wondered if you guys could help me with one of Joris Voorn's effect mappings on traktor.

he uses the effect quite often but in this link you here it once @ 1'20" for a short time. then @5'35" he uses it a little longer and then @6'50" you can hear it for quite a while.

I am familiar with traktor mappings etc... I really looking for what he is used and how it is mapped/routed... how it is triggered... because I have no idea where to start...

    Thanks in advance!!!

Hi Blckstage and welcome to forums.
What he uses sounds like a Tape Delay set in to Single effect mode in Traktor. (Dubfire uses it very often too)
But similar results can be achieved with the Ramp Delay also - if not better imo.

You can check out post #2 of this thread where you can find the mapping parameters for Ramp Delay instant button effect. You can use it as it is or you can simply change it to Tape Delay via "Effect Selector" command.

Hi Stewe thank you for the quick reply!

I was messing around whit the mapping you suggested... I'm coming close but it is not exactly what I want to achieve. the ramp delay takes a long time to speed up and doesn't sounds that punchy. I tried the Tape delay but that turned out in a disaster also when changing the parameters.

I checked out more about dubfire's rattle snake and came across this video:

Here I see he uses a reverb and some kind of delay (normal, T3...)

I thinks here It sounds more like the one joris uses.

you have any thoughts on that?

Thanks for al the effort until now!

Dubfire does it with the Tape Delay effect only as you can see in this DJTT video.

Pretty sure it's the same one used by Joris.

Here you go buddy: Tape Delay macro button.zip This is keyboard mapping btw - uses FX Unit 1 armed with the Tape Delay. Press "D" on your keyboard to take action.

Firstly backup your mappings Be sure to use BIG IMPORT button located in the bottom of the preferences window (import provided tsi twice to successfully import effect settings)
