This webinar will delve into the exciting world of remixing and sampling. Our focus will be on utilizing the software tools Ableton Live and Mixed in Key, in combination with Behringer keyboard and MIDI controllers. These techniques can be utilized for any software and MIDI controllers. We will be improvising a remix from scratch during the webinar. Here are some of the techniques we will cover:

• warping audio, samples and creating loops in Ableton live
• chopping loops and automating clips
• hacking grooves and layering in your own beats
• using software to help pick sounds that go together
• organizing your sound library
• getting hands on with transposing samples
• improvising arrangements
