Alien Sound really quick during playback and not during playback
SOLVED see here

Ok this is really strange. Im not even sure too much on how to describe the sound
Its not from the music because it happens while nothing is playing
I was just going over the controlls, getting familiar with them
nothing was playing
at one point, nothing was in either deck and still the sound happened
i tried over and over again to reproduce it intentially but i cant.
Its a random sound.
Almost sounds like its computer generated.
Like a glitch sound or a squeetch.
really high pitched, and really short. Less then a second
I mean you are talking like less then 1/4 of a second but its loud and just barely long enough to notice it in the audio.
While listening with headphones, i use the MAIN OUTS on the Kontrol S4 and plugged them into my external dj mixer input (channel 3)
so i had my headphones pluged into my dj mixer, no KS4
i did this to make sure the sound was coming from the S4 and no where else.
it is.
I even saw the audio signal peak on my mixer input level.
Not sure whats happening here.
Like i said
its random
happens when music is playing or not.
any advice on what to look for?

here is the sound.
You can hear it exactly at 1 second INTO the audio
In this case i was able to record it while something was playing
i tried doing it while NOTHING was playing but it took too long recording.
And wouldnt yuo know... im still listening right now while im typing this (on another computer)
and i JUST made the sound while NOTHING was playing in either deck and nothing is loaded lol

sounds like a double CLICK and a thUMP just after the sound fades out

the sound was because my laptop wasnt accepting the new LATENCY settings i adjusted until a number of restarts.
All seems fine now
