Did some research. The Z2 is actually a relatively larger 2 chan mixer compared to others. Here are dimension comparisons (got a little carried away) for many of the major 2 channel mixers (listed in order of decreasing length, all measurements in mm, L x W x H):

    L x W x H (in mm)
    djm t1: 403 264 109
    NI z2: 388 272 109
    djm 909: 381 251 108
    rane 62: 362 267 102
    xone 32: 358 257 89
    rane57sl: 343 254 102
    rane 61: 338 254 102
    rane 56s: 338 254 77
    05proIV: 330 263 83
    xone 22: 326 240 82
    xone 02: 320 262 90
    djm 400: 305 222 107
    djm 350: 301 218 106
    djm 250: 300 240 108

Magma bags already have a link dedicated to Z2 bags (no new bag, just links to which of their current bags will fit): http://www.magma-bags.com/gear-guide/Kontrol-Z2.html

The Gator G-Club CDMX-10 linked above is actually a little small. But the big brother version CDMX-12 should work:

Any others people recommend? Look at the dimensions of the Z2 (388 mm x 272 mm x 109 mm) and let's get some more ideas! I did not search for any flight cases or hard covered boxed cases as I'm more interested in bags/backpacks...

    Hope this helped!

I will be using my UDG Creator or as I like to call it: The Canvas Nuclear Bomb Proof Equipment Panic Room. I'll do a video when the my z2 arrives

I should however point out one large problem with this bag. It allows you to pack in so much stuff that you quickly find yourself with a bag that you can barely carry. I put my should out last week. I had:

    1 Xone K2 (in case)
1 Kontrol F1 (in neoprene case)
    1 15.6" Samsung laptop
    1 14" HP laptop
4 2.5" hard disks (in hard carry case)
    1 pair HD25s (in bag)
1 pair Klipsch X10s (in case)
1 large Swiss army knife type thing
    screwdriver kit
    assorted pens and CDS
    Enough cables to rewire china
The good lord Jesus Christ (8lb 3oz Talladega Edition)

I could have jammed Maschine in too....

Yes, looks like UDG Creator will work, as it has inner dimensions of 420 mm x 325 mm x 165 mm. Let us know how you like the fit!

Have you tried this? The smallest dimension on the Z2 is 109mm (without a case or decksaver or anything like that) vs +/- 76 mm on the controllerist backpack, according to this site's store page for it.

I think this will do it for me! I hope to fit:

    1 x Kontrol Z2 (w/decksaver)
2 x Kontrol F1 (in the NI cases and decksavers)
1 x Maschine or Maschine mkii (in decksaver)
    1 x rMBP
    1 x iPad
in-ears, ear plugs, cables, charger, and sharpie.

    Thanks smittten!

(I am a little worried about how you feel about the bag, though - keep it platonic. Don't let yourself get hurt. Take it slow.)

Has anyone ever tried these? http://store.roadreadycases.com/dyn_prod.php?p=RR12BB

It's like a little bridge for the mixer! The rack ear version is sort of cuter because everything seems to be the same height.

    I hope to bridge these:

Z2 arrives today so I'll check the fit with the UDG.

Thanks! I bought a coffin because I'm flying LGA/SFO/LAX/CDG a lot and wanted to take both my 1200s and the Z2, but the UDG might be a much more practical option for any situation where I don't need my own.
