if it's too good to be true...

but seriously, they've been in business since 1997 and only registered their domain last year?

I wouldn't do it if they only accept payment via Western Union. Too easy for them to just take your money with no guarantees.

Yeah ebay or craiglist is your best bet. I got mine for 275 it was the mixvibes edition and he listed it under vci-100mv so no one jumped on the deal.

@n2hf1st & belchman & fa5ky - yeah been watching ebay for quite a while, had to let several go because there just outside my price range, title of 'broke student' is soo shite, thanks for the advice, also good to know about the mix vibes edition wasnt aware of that,

@BentoSan - sorry! had a moment of madness, thinking there was a slim possiblity it was real!

aye, gotta keep watching and waiting, just irritating because ive got a gig in a couple of months thats much more low profile to stuff normally, so wouldv been a really good opportunity to have given the VCI-100SE its first 'spin' so to speak, i know t scratch pro fairly well in combination with a midi keyboard for effects and loops but feel im gonna want to have some time to really get to know the VCI-100

Craigslist is definitely your best bet if you're looking for "student friendly" pricing. I got mine last summer for $200 in perfect working condition. Just a couple of cosmetic scuff marks. If you're getting an overlay from DJTT, even that won't matter.
