Traktor using way to much CPU!

For some reason all of sudden when i use Traktor the load is way to high and it will crash from just playing two songs and using a few effects. I have reset my sound card to default settings. Half of my memory on my hard drive is still free. All other programs are closed. The load is still just as high with or with out midi controllers being used. Does any one have any idea what could be causing this? maybe how my library is configured? and recently traktor has been having trouble recognizing my mixtrack pro and i will have to close trakor and reconnect my mixtrack pro several times for it to recognize it, any help or new ideas would be much appreciated!

Whats your latency and sample rate set at?

Try reducing both and you may see an improvement.
