Default Any idea how much some old records can fetch me?

I have about 100 classic rock records collecting dust, ranging in date from about the late 1960's to mid 1980's. I have no use for them, and they're just taking up space. Think I can make some money off of them?

Try to do eBay searches to see what similar records fetch. Or get in touch with a honest/professional store or vinyl purchaser. Most likely if they are rare you get something from them, if they are let's say Deep Purple/Black Sabbath catalog LPs et rest there's little value.

Look them up online on sites like Gemm, Music Stack and Discogs to get an idea of prices.

eBay prices tend to be all over the place in my experience, you can check completed listings to show auction end prices tho to get an idea of what people are willing to pay.

Not nearly as much as you think unless they're sealed Beatles albums.

All you need is one gem in there, but chances are they won't be worth all that much so don't get your hopes up.

What you need is something like this: -

Have a look at Discogs and see what the going rates are for whatever you have. It'll give you an idea at least.

Thumper is right. If all of them end up being worth crap (like a dollar or less each), you could sell them as a bundle on Craig's List or just give em away.
