    Default Map effect on button to blink?

    is that possible?

    i have a vci 400, i have mapped alot pre-set effects on the pad buttons. and when i press on 1 of them (for example flange effect would turn on).

    so my set up now is that when the LED is ON from any of the buttons mean there is a preset effect mapped.
    my only indication that im using that effect is when the LED is OFF

    is there away to make it BLINK instead of OFF?

    help please,

    i might think this is impossible. being trying different stuff for hours

    I assume you've mapped presets to 8 button pad? Modifier can help you with idea..

    M1=1 ; M1=2 ; M1=3 ; M1=4
    M1=5 ; M1=6 ; M1=7 ; M1=0

    All values should be set to 'HOLD'. Now map 'Beat Phase' to all buttons and dedicate modifier conditions of each button.

    yes i have mapped 8 presets into 8 button pads.

    i have tried for with the "Beat Phase" numerous of time, none of them work.

    this is how i have it....maybe im during something wrong.

    add in - button 1 - toggle - effect unit 2 - *learn one of the button pads*

    add out - button 1 - *learn the SAME button pad* - check invert - **** when the effect is off the LED is lit, and OFF when effect is on****

    add out - beat phase - *learn the same button* - **** here i messed with the controller range with different min/max values****

    nothing works.

    this beeat phase method works for the PLAY/PAUSE button.....i dont know why it doesnt work for the effect on.
    add out - phase beat -

    Perhaps the effect off LED prevents the beat monitor to lite up? Try deleting effect output and see if that help.

    That is totally mappable, make sure you don't have any other conflicting LED output commands mapped for same pad. Start new mapping and map only this few commands to test.
