Sound system is also a "good" idea especially considering you're doing more varied gigs as this gives you more independence.

Personally I'm looking for a monitor I can bring at dj gigs because I'm sick of places "never" havin monitors.

Don't get me wrong I know it's not the same budget

You make a good point there. It may be one of the things I consider.
