Default sound cards that sound big for cheap

I re-read the sound cards under 200....I was Looking at the native instrument sound card. Will it be able to put out enough signal for a club that can hold 200+people.

Or do anyone know of a soundcard thats in the 200 dollar price range that can put out some decent sound.

Will it be able to put out enough signal for a club?

    Huh...?

You're signal will allways go through the club's soundsystem, when hooked up to the club's mixer.
So I think this question can be rendered as obsolete.

Yes a sound card will let you output sound with a much better quality compared to just running it off your laptop motherboard.

Any external sound card for a computer will be able to put out enough signal(loudness) to then me amplified by the clubs system.

With sound cards you want to look at latency and quality. Your latency is the peroid of time the processor has before it will send the information out to your sound card. Firewire soundcards will be able to handle a smaller latency then a usb. However it isnt "that" big of a deal because we are talking in Milli seconds here. I run 7ms on my soundcard. I personally wouldn't do anything above 25. The quality is determined by sample rate. Typically most recording are in 48000hz so normally i wont set mine any higher. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sampling_rate

Now if i were you i would personally get the firebox ( if your planning on doing this for awhile). However listen to what ean has to say about the other ones in his video.
