    Default VCi100SE wont work

    Hi all,
I just bought a new computer and wanted to install all my dj stuff on it again, already got my Traktor Pro installed. But every time i connect my VCI100SE with my laptop he says that there might be a problem with the connection. It gets power ( red led glows) but when i press buttons the data led stays dark. I also imported the newest VCI100SE TSI file but that does nothing. Is my controller broken or is there something Iīm missing?

Thanks in advance for the support

    what computer do u use?
is the vci plugged into powered usb hub?
is vci plugged to power adapter?
    are the jogs lit?
mind the on/off switch can be set on in two ways! on/usbpowered & on/poweradapter

    Itīs a windows 7 ( Medion Erazer),
it is connected to the computer via the USB power slot,
the jogs are not lighting when even though the power led is lit,
and the switch is set on the USB power.

The transport buttons under the jog donīt light up? Is one LED lit in ControlFX section?
Tried another usb cable? tried to connect to another computer?
Donīt know anything about win7, but it sounds more like a problem of the vci. Maybe a loose cable inside..
Honestly, I have no clue. Sorry.
Hopefully someone else can give you more support.

Hereīs a link to the manual.

    from this manual:
""DATA SEND LED This LED lights when the VCI-100 has been operated and the MIDI control signal is being sent normally to the computer. If this LED does not light-up, parts of the power source or controller may have worn out.""

To exclude a low voltage usb port connect to a power adapter! But be sure to use the right one: DC-9V 500mA
