    Default Suggestions on DJ Headphones?!

My last pair of sennheiser headphones were destroyed at a house gig. I'm looking forward to buying another pair of headphones.

    My price range $100-150.

    Suggestions?

This DJTT post is relatively recent, but they maybe beyond your price range http://www.djtechtools.com/2012/12/0...ones-reviewed/

I like the Sony MDR-7506. Only like $100.

Anything with a warranty. Headphones are notorious for breaking, doesn't matter if they are five hundred dollars or seventy dollars they all break. Get a warranty and save yourself the hassle.

I managed to pickup the HDJ 1500's for 135, and was pleasantly suprised. Really nice isolation, comfortable (and you can swap over HDJ-2000 earpads if you prefer), and while I found them a touch bass heavy, I find that it's ideal when trying to beat-match your kicks.

Otherwise you can't go wrong with the Sennheiser HD 280 pro's. Had mine for almost 9 years, and loved them to bits

i have my sennheiser hd25 for 5+ years now (maybe longer - ITS OLD)

the only problem is the sound cutting off sometimes (and needs to wiggle the plugs a bit) but they always continue to work at the end of the day

    and man they get trashed!
    Setup:

    Traktor Pro 2 / S2 MK2 / X1 MK2 / Audio6 / Pioneer HDJ2000 / Westone UM3X / rMBP 13 inch 2014 (2.8 GHz) / Focal Alpha 50

    This gets asked every week.

Sennheiser HD 25's are ALWAYS the answer. Whether they are in budget or just out of budget, just get them and be done with it.
Technics 1210 mk2's, Pioneer CDJ 500, Allen & Heath DB4, NI F1's (x2), Reloop Contour Controller Edition, Sennheiser HD25 1-II or Allen & Heath XD2-53's depending on my mood...
