Default Traktor Pro S4 Troubleshoot - Answer needed!

Im new to DJ'ing and recently purchased the Traktor Kontrol S4. Its been awesome, except I notice that the jog wheel on the right doesn't scratch like the one on the left does. The left only stops the music and goes back 1 beat....doesn't let me scratch all the way thru a song. Is this normal? Or have I set something up wrong?

I've scoured the manual and google, and so far...nothing. Please help!

have you tried recalibrating in the preferences?

by 'scratch (...) thru a song' you mean skipping through it? i think you can achieve this by pressing shift and using the jogwheel..

    Default Tried and tested

Hey basspenetrator, thanks for the quick response!

    I have tried:
    - recalibrating the device
    - updating the software
    - checking all the preference settings are ok

my only guess is that the actual jog wheel is broken - as it doesnt even go through the track when shift is held down as you mentioned....it sticks and doesnt scrub through the track at all!

Do you think its broken? Maybe I bought a broken model?

You may need to re-attach the Jog wheel.

To take it off you do the opposite of putting it back on.

Grip the side of the jog wheel, press down on the platter and turn the clockwise (i think) and it will unlock. The opposite of what jojo does in the video.
