Hi there,
I own a VCI-100 SE running FW 1.4. The mapping by DJTT is a huge leap forward from to original Vestax mapping. However, it does not always work well with minimal techno/dry industrial stuff, since it seems to be more directed at electroclash/renegade master/seven nation army sound. Now, I would like to change a few things but lack the knowledge to do so. Is there any other way to do it rather than sort through the TSI in Traktor? Also, I don't have the faintest idea what all those numbers and letters even mean... Is there any beginners guide anywhere?
Things I would like to do:
1. Change the Filter to a normal EQ filter instead of the FX-y thing it is now.
2. Change the FX presets both in chained and advanced modes.
3. Use the Gain knobs for something else (like a insta-Gater/insta-BM with Shift or so).
4. Change the values of the Slicer preset (disable the Pat-thing, use much less Buzz)
I barely managed to do what the DJTT manual says and delete the lines in order to make the vol faders control FX parameter 2 instead of D/W.
Any tips for starting of on making one's own custom mapping based on the DJTT .tsi?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers
