Default Niels de Vries - 12 inch (Dubstep Remix)

I've been going a bit crazy with production lately for some reason, I need to find a job.

This is a remix of Niel de Vries - 12 Inch. You can listen to the original on youtube here.

I guess this is an odd song to make a dubstep remix of, but it came out pretty tight I think. Let know what you think. As always, all feedback is much appreciated!

    like that one!
but i'm actually a fan of that dubsteppy snare, meaning a hard snare with a lot of whitenoise behind it... feels like the snare slaps you in the face - personally i think that's what makes dubstep really dubstep!

to get that sound morbido is talking about, try layering a snare and a clap, or something to that effect. I learned it from one of the rusko videos on dubstep production, and it really does add up to a slap in the face sound.

Okay, I'll definitely look into that the next time I work on this, or any project for that matter. It's weird how seemingly little things become the staple of a certain sound.

    Thanks again.
