Default vci400 serato dj mapping does not have slicer mode

if you check the VCI400 quick start manual here:
    http://serato.com/dj/downloads

you will see that the mapping does not include slicer mode

thats a big wow for me, I bet a lot of 400 users would have been assuming that was coming… it does exist in the ddjsx right? surely it is not some kind of deal with pioneer

imagine if they were to release mappings of Twitch/VCI380 without it?

you need to read it again look at slicer mode in the list and behind it is a 3 then look at Additional features exclusive to the Pioneer DDJ-SX: and you see that 3 [Pioneer DDJ-SX and Vestax VCI-400] so it looks like it does have slicer mode
DJ setup 1 - Pioneer XDJ-Aero, Pioneer DDJ-SP1, Mixvibes Cross, Macbook Air 13", Pioneer HDJ 2000. DJ setup 2 - NI Kontrol F1, Z1, X1mkII, Traktor Pro2, Macbook Air 13", Pioneer HDJ 2000 w. Production - iMac 21.5", Motu 828x, Icon Qcon Pro + EX, Nektar Panorama P4, Propellerhead Reason, Mashine Mikro(drum programer in Reason)

I downloaded Serato Dj for VCI 400 and no slicer mode, also, I was hoping to map the auto loop but works differently than on itch or intro systems.

so far it has a couple of up and way more downs.

The slicer isn't all it's cracked up to be, you're not missing anything essential

at first i loved it, then i found it easy to abuse like the first time you use the beatmasher on a midi fighter and then later really liked when using it sparingly as a more advanced beatrepeat sorta thing

can't wait to use it again if serato ever decide to bless my 380 with some sdj goodness

    but wait...

    - a new challenger appears -

is it conceivable that a full version of traktor would contain some kind of sliceresque 'freeze' mode before the vci?
