Default how do you sync maschine and traktor?

been a topic of interest over last while, mainly because I am yet to find an elegant solution on a Win 7 PC

so far my assumptions as best practice are:
    1) use a mac/osx as it deals with midi clock the best
    2) only play very consistent techno minimal style EDM, don't be stopping and starting all the time
    3) if one must use windows, manually sync and map host DAW nudge and maybe pitch controls to another midi controller (because chopping and changing in and out of maschine midi mode can be a pain).

interested to hear from those having success syncing the two:
    - does it go out of sync over time? how do you deal with this?
    - what is your ms latency offset?
    - if manually syncing how do you deal with maschine's lack of nudge control?
    - what type of music are you doing this with?

ah sshhht, screwed up the poll choices... maybe a mod can fix it... was supposed to be:

Midi clock - Ableton/Maschine VST master – Traktor slave (Mac)
Midi clock - Traktor master - Ableton/Maschine VST slave (Mac)
Midi clock - Maschine standalone master – Traktor slave (Mac)
Midi clock - Traktor master – Maschine Standalone slave (Mac)
Manual beatmatching – using only Maschine mode transport controls
Manual beatmatching– Maschine as VST using transport from host DAW mapped to midi controller
Midi clock – external clock source master (eg. drum machine/midipal) – Traktor/Maschine slave (Mac)
Midi clock – external clock source master (eg. drum machine/midipal) – Traktor/Maschine slave (PC)
Midi clock - Ableton/Maschine VST master – Traktor slave (PC)
Midi clock - Traktor master - Ableton/Maschine VST slave (PC)
Midi clock - Maschine standalone master – Traktor slave (PC)
Midi clock - Traktor master – Maschine Standalone slave (PC)

    My votes are:
Manual beatmatching– Maschine as VST using transport from host DAW mapped to midi controller
Midi clock – external clock source master (eg. drum machine/midipal) – Traktor/Maschine slave (PC)

i have on the midi page of the maschine, two nudge arrows that nudge all four decks, so i can nudge traktor in time with maschine.

I am looking into syncing maschine with traktor but I will be using Windows all the reading I have done talks of the bpm fluctutating too much. What are peoples exiperances of this in real world dj set ups.
