    Default How would I connect my APC40 and Allen and Heath Xone 42?

    I recently bought an apc40 and an allen and heath 42. If i wanna use ableton to dj live how would i connect my apc40 and xone 42 together then to the sound system..
    I assume ap40-->computer-->interface-->mixer then what?
    Back to interface then system?
    Or straight from mixer to system?

    I produce as well as dj and wanted to make sure the native instruments audio 6 interface is enough for all i want to accomplish (at most when producing maybe hooking up a guitar besides me mpk or apc).

    I have the exact same setup.

    APC 40 -> computer -> USB sound card -> mixer -> monitors assuming you're mixing externally.

    I'm using just an Audio 4.

    now you use your xone 42 to do all your eqing i assume?
    what channels do you sync your apc up to one you xone42?
    1-2 to channel 1...3-4 to channel 2?

    The Xone :42 has a pair of USB audio outs if you only need a single channel of output.

    Um. With Ableton, I actually found it relatively easy to EQ within the APC40 using Will Marshall's template, but I'm making a move to Traktor where I'm using the Xone 42 just because the Traktor template isn't playing nice with my version of Traktor.

    I have both deck A and B going to channel 1/2 and reserved 3/4 for CUE-ing. I'll have A playing while I cue up B (in 3/4) and then I can launch B whenever.

    I don't have monitors at the moment so I'm doing everything in my headphones.
