A couple of issues I'm having with timecode. How can I load tracks/loop in Traktor with the setup I have now (CDJ/DJM 350) without using the trackpad on my laptop? Also, how can I disable the autoplay function? When I load a song in Traktor, it starts playing automatically. Lastly, when I cue a song, it skips ahead a bit. It never returns back to the exact starting point I had it cued at originally. Sorry to be a pest; I'd just like to get all the issues out of the way at the same time.

You should be able to use the regular loop buttons on the CDJs with timecode. Stop the timecode disc if you don't want a song to autoplay. And the newest version of Traktor should regain the Track Browse function form the timecode CD.

The inaccurate cueing will be solved by using MIDI mode over USB with the CDJs instead of timecode.

After reading the Traktor Pro connection guide, I'm curious. It seems using my CDJs in midi mode gives more control to the Traktor user, and frankly seems better. Why don't people just use this mode as opposed to timecode? Does it just work like this for the 350s?

You would use timecode on older CDJ's, such as the CDJ1000. Decks that don't have a built in soundcard basically.

Yes, the 350's do work like this. That's how I had mine set up.

I'm sure the soundcard will be worth something anyway. Plus, you can just get a pair of 12's now, and have an even better set-up.

Still worth keeping the A6 if you think you'll be using other CDJs e.g. in clubs, or if you're interested in trying vinyl.

But yeah, info is very obscure when it comes to things like this..
