    Default Gear Decision.

I have a big gear decision coming up, and I just wanted to ask you guys what you though. I don't want to share the choices right now, as I just want an overall idea of your thoughts. Would you buy something thats more fun to play with, or gives you more utility?

    My choices are:
    1) Moog Sub Phatty
    2) Ableton Push Suite Upgrade & Rode NT2-A Mic

Honestly I feel like it'd be more useful to get the Ableton Push and 9 upgrade, but just having like the ability to play with sound physically really sounds like an insane amount of fun.

After looking at what you have in your studio I'd say go with the sub Phatty. Software prices go down and midi hardware too. Look at Maschine prices when the newer one came out. I say get the moog now and eventually get Push. It's not like you don't have any way to make beats now.
