It seems as if, currently, noone maintains the traktorbible.com website. I wrote Rainer through the contact form on the website. I didn't receive a reply.
I even searched this forum and the NI forum for any news that Traktor Bible has been discontinued. No definite answers there, either. Does anybody reading this got any insights?

I love a good book more than anyone, but with Traktor being updated so often, wouldn't some sort of online subscription model be a better way to keep it up to date? iBook? Kindle?

I don't think that hard copy book is actually updated. The updates (when it was being updated) are in electronic form and accessible on the website.
