    I always been looking for new good music but don't know were to go? How did dj's before the internet source their songs.

    soundcloud loads of talent on there alot of people give away there music as well..

    Soundcloud is great now that they have their continuous stream mode.

    For me a lot of music-searching is about finding original tracks, of course i download the beatport top 100 every month and i enjoy playing it a lot, but original tracks make up 1/3 of my set most of the time. I find the more originals tracks in my database of cool original music blogs/websites etc. I check them now and then and not everything on there is great but every now and then these super-hot bangers pop up out of nothing. Just to share a few;

    personally I avoid beatport charts completely

    KaZaA, Napster, Demonoid and Megaupload.

    Seriously though, listen to pod casts by other DJs, Hardwell on air is a pretty good one, for example.
