    Default VCI 100SE USB problems

    HI,

i was wondering if you anyone has had to replace there usb connector/port that is on the vci? Its come to the point were any movement at all will reset (turn off/on) the vci.

What im looking for is this a common problem, if so how did you fix it?

nope, not a common problem from what i've seen. sounds like a loose connector. might need a re-soldering job.

The PCB is pretty accessible so it should be an easy enough job to switch the connector out.

thanks guys, i will be taking this to an electrician, i don't have the common knowledge or the equipment to complete the task. But i did take it apart and it seem to be loose connector.
