ipad?

I would like to purchase an ipad used.... im on a tight budget and been looking at used ipads on ebay. There are a lot of 1st generation ipads for sale. Are they able to run apps like touch osc and touchabe ok on the 1st gen ipads?

Yes, I'm using one and have no issues with that kind of apps.

Yep, although you won't be able to run Traktor DJ. With that in mind, it might be better to purchase a cheap Android tablet or an HP Touchpad, as the OSC apps are available for those platforms as well now.

Touch osc is dead in the water with Android. Androids operating system from what I hear will never support good midi programs. That's why I want to go with the I pad. Why wouldn't it run Traktor DJ? Just curious.

Be careful...TouchOSC on Android doesn't have all the features of its iOS counterpart (It didn't even have custom layouts last time I checked...).
