Default Vinyl only - midweek mix

Mixed on my Stanton Str8-150 TT's and my little nox404 mixer playing purely vinyl and recorded using audacity which I'm still getting use to which level to record at hence why this mix is a little on the low side so pump it up haha!

After completing my first mix and really listening to it I really wasn't happy at the sound quality or the mix in general. DJing is just a hobby and not a profession and is something that I have loved to attempt to do but it's only the last few weeks (since getting my new TT's) that I've really knuckled down and started hammering them.

Any info/opinions are welcome but please keep in mind I'm certainly not a superstar DJ (yet )

Been listening whilst revising. I enjoyed it, except for the effect at 32 mins, was a little harsh, but yeah, nice track selection Later on in the mix you seem to get bored and some of the effects don't add much, but really doesn't matter massively. Keep it going. This is just making me look forward to getting some TT's. How you liking the Stantons?

Yes made a bit of balls up on an attempted effect mix that I had seen on YouTube haha!
As for the effects at the end yeh cos I'm trying to concentrate on the mix throughout I sort of forget about the option of adding effects thus nearer to the end of my set I seem to remember then just go at it!
As for the TT's I really really do enjoy them especially what I've had to use over the last few years! They took some getting use to and to be honest I'm still really in the early stages of using them and learning to mix on them. You won't be disappointed with the stantons
