would a hackintosh be reliable enough? i've heard of them having issues since many of them don't have the proper drivers for the components.

I really enjoy them and they feel right. They have more torque than 1200's/1210's, they +/- 16 come's in pretty handy when I need that little bit of extra pitch and cutting in tracks playing backwards with the reverse switch is pretty fun too. My one little niggle is that the track light looks a little cheap and plasticly.

I've recently bought a pair of swan flight cases for the 7000's

    Hurrah for the DJM250

Fitted an innofadder in it a while a go. Such a great upgrade

Loving the journey from a humble VCI-100 to full blown TTs and DJM250. I started with a VCI100 as well but took it to production but still DJ for fun. Cheers!

I've moved again and my setup has evolved a little more. I'm looking into adding Numark Orbit I have into this for controlling cue points and loops (touch screens are a little fiddly). Next major addition will hopefully be a DJM-250 mk2 so I can get rid of my soundcard and all those messy cables.

There are plenty of guides on which hardware components to keep an eye out for. That aside....

It is way easier and more reliable to run OSX in a VM. I do for the use of rekordbuddy alone.
