I'm not getting paid to DJ... but why would you want to get paid via PayPal? They take 3% of your money.
yeah I've taken payments as paypal for deposits plenty of times. Just make the promoter pay the fees too.
One thing I can't stand is booking headliners and how they almost always require their deposits sent via wire. That shit is expensive.
If you send it as a payment for an item or service, there is a 3% charge.
If it is a gift to a friend (you have to select that option) then it is free (I think).
i take it all up front
i dont even do promotions for the night unless is already been paid for
this way
A) they cant change the schedule on me
B) they cant ask me NOT to come (since they paid for me to be there already)
C) if my people show up and they want to say "We are only paying for your people that showed" that isnt going to happen either.
Because if they and the venue dont already have its own people show up, thats not my fault, and actually, that would be a really bad sign of their own business
