    Hello everyone,

Im brand new to DJ TECHTOOLS !!!!

I have been viewing threads and cant really find any threads with much relation to my question.

I hope you can help me anyway !!!

Im 20 years old and its my 21st birthday in August !!!!

I am looking to get some CD decks but i haven't a clue what !!!!

I have been looking at Pioneer CDJ 350S, 800S and 850S.

    Around the £1000.00 region.

I'm a beginner but have used and have some knowledge in music, what do you all recommend.

The DJM 250 is a nice mixer!!! A friend of mine had the CDJ 350s, and I didn't like the platters on them!!! But I did like using 800s!!!
    Just my 2 cents!!!

A pair of CDJ 800s are still fetching close to $1000 over here. I miss the cheap gear I used to get in the UK.

    Default Decisions !!!!

    Cheers everyone,

yea my mates got 350s with the DJM 250 mixer but the decks seem a little simple.

I think i want some 850s with the 250 mixer.

But i dont want to be running before i walk !!!

Im looking around the £1000 region up to around £1500 i think !!!!

    So many options !!!

You reckon pioneer is the best choice.....

You should be able to get a pair of used 850s for £1000 if you look around. The DJM250 is only £180 new on top.

If things don't work out, a used pair of 850's are most likely to hold their value the best (depending on how long you hold on to them, the 800's will prob be right there too)

Oh, now its time for you to do some research yourself.

    Demos are free.
    Ableton
    Fruity loops
    Reason might have a demo

    Start there.
