Default New to being a DJ - Need help with midi/remix decks

    Hey Guys

As stated in the title, im new to mixing.
I am however, looking to add the ease of having something like the midi fighter, native f1, or novation launchpad

Can someone please help me decide between these?

    Thanks a ton

Midi Fighter - Different, stands out from the crowd, good customer service, definitely the best buttons.

F1 - Still the best Remix Deck controller, as it's the only controller designed just for the remix decks, this should come as no surprise.

Launchpad - Lots of buttons, bad build, broke mine within a few months after a short fall (bout 2/3 foot).

When you say "ease", what exactly do you mean? Because if you're learning to mix, these controllers are the least of your worries.

EDIT: In fact getting your head round the Remix Decks before learning basic A -> B mixing is a terrible idea.

Not really sure its fair to judge the build quality of tabletop DJ gear based on its ability to withstand a fall from 3 feet.

My F1 took twice the amount last night after some tit fell over and swiped it off the tabletop, same DJ booth but different part of it, so not only did it fall an extra two feet, it had momentum too. Still works, slight ding on the lower corner on the one it already had because it was second hand, so no tears lost there.

The actual Launchpad worked fine, just the USB port was shafted after the drop.

All 3 are built well. That being said, you don't need any of them. You are new to djing, you need to learn to mix. Not to do controller routines yet.

This, I'd really focus on the basics before overwhelming yourself.
