win7 and traktor 3, will it work?

So, bought a new pc a couple of weeks ago and it's eligible for a free win 7 upgrade (already ordered).
However the eligible pc doesn't have an optical drive (nettop - have got an external one, but they don't know that) so i figured i'd whack it on my laptop (has dvd drive, can be argued as legit).
Is there any possible issues i should know about before trying to run T3 on it? Apparently it's not as resource sucking as vista so i can see a benefit there, but will it run?

side question; If i decide to put it on the new pc with the external dvd rom i got for it, will it install ok? Never done an upgrade before so not 100% (obviously i'm googling/binging this particular question, but if anyone has anything to add...?)

tpro runs flawlessly on my lappy runnin w7, i dont see why it wouldnt work. make sure you get all your drivers before you format tho!

I have 7 on both my Asus gaming notebook and under bootcamp/vmware on my MBP and have had very few issues with compatability. I still have my T3 license and installer so I'll double check and verify everything is peachy.

Just tried. Good news, T3.4 works wonderfully under 7! Bad news, my Audio8 has serious drop out issues. I'm assuming driver issue with either chipset or just plain old NI driver. I think I used 2.1 or 2.01 on the interface without checking NI website to see if there are newer drivers. I could probably figure out what's causing it but I'm not gonna keep this 7 install much longer on my machines until the final version is released.
