    Default speakers

    I want to get some speakers in a few weeks but unsure weather to get monitors or a amp and speaker set up I have been using my home theatre amp but I want to get a set to go with my dj set up want to spend about £250 but can probably do £300 at a squeeze

    wondering if you guys could help

    There are tonnes of topics about this, use the search function. Long story short, monitors are rather made for producing, other speakers are made for listening/DJing.

    Monitors don't color the sound the way that speakers do. It is a very flat sound without extra high or low. This way you can produce with a cleaner sound. That being said, a pair of studio monitors have been used by myself, and many others because essentially, they are speakers. Krks are really nice, even lower end m-audios if you are tight on cash will work well.

    How big of a space are you looking to fill with sound? A bedroom will be different than a garage, or recroom.

    those would work. Youre looking at $500 for a pair, for that much, there are a lot of speakers that would work. Mind you, they can get expensive.

    Think there about £350 ish in English money not to bad bit more then I want to spend but I do like the look of them
