Did a quick search and couldnt really find a thread dedicated to asking where people are buying their music, so i un-hijacked the thread you posted in and made a new thread.

If people post lots of sites ill add this to the FAQ

    Ill start !

    www.beatport.com

    www.juno.co.uk/ / www.junodownload.co.uk

    www.djdownload.com

    http://www.choicetrax.com/ (music store aggregator)

Also guys, please no dodgy russian sites !

I'd advise junodownload.co.uk for downloading tracks (as opposed to juno.co.uk for 12" and CDs).
I love beatports system and interface but it's sometimes expensive, restricted and somehow I prefer junodownload

oh and please make sure to read the terms & conditions on music sites just to make sure they're not russianz, or just rapidshare-link collectors (such as the dutch website www.4usonly.biz). cheers

Almost all my stuff comes from either the artist or label directly, or the great and wonderful:

    www.psyshop.com

I live in Canada, its in Germany, I get stuff usually within 3-4 days  unless customs nabs it, then it can take weeks

I still have this affinity for CD's - get em, rip em and put em away. Hmm, maybe I need a giant safety-deposit box to store them al in safely!

I use eMusic, and I'm reasonably happy with it.
I'm not good at things, but I like to pretend I am.

cdon.com <----mostly comercial stuff, but good for the everyday top 40 stuff and some older gems can be found aswell, bit of warning thou, the chekkoutsystem bug quite often, and u get charged for the purchase, but if u email support u get codes to get the music again, it's just takes time and i dunno if the site is restricted to scandinavia. but when it works its gr8 and is my main site for music besides beatport.

beatport.com for my nu-disco fix ;P and all the other heavyer stuff thats not on cdon

    and directly from some artists

I just use itunes for hip hop and some dance, but mostly use beatport for trance/dance. some stuff from beatport is a lil pricey
