iTunes not syncing with your DJ software? ....try this.

I'm mainly a Traktor user. I also own licensed copies of Serato DJ (plus Itch), MixVibes Cross, Virtual DJ, djay, & Torq (....is Torq still officially alive?? )

Because I want to be able to jump between DJing software if I choose to, I maintain all my playlists in iTunes. The problem is though, i've noticed fairly flaky synchronisation between iTunes & all of the DJing software mentioned recently. Varying from Traktor seeing a version of my itunes library from a few days ago, to Serato not seeing my iTunes library at all.

.....clearly something in iTunes has changed!

I've been all over the different forums looking for an answer to this, & I think i've finally found it. It looks like it's to do with the iTunes music library getting re-named, if you start moving your music library files around.

I followed the instructions on the link below, & everything seems to be back to normal now.
