    Default denon sc2900

Does anyone here own a pair?

i have read many reviews stating how they are as good (if not better) than the cdj900. but i have yet to talk to anyone in a forum that owns one.

I own a x1700 and i know that Denon has phenomenal build quality, but does anyone here own one?

I currently have a pair of Reloop RMP-3a (pretty good players, but one will only do usb, link, midi right now)

i want to upgrade to sc2900's.

CDJ 900s have a clear advantage if you use laptop DJ software as they support HID control in all the major apps, whereas Denon players are stuck with MIDI and timecode.

Anyone know how the loading-time for tracks compare on the sc900s and the cdj 900s when using USBs/external hard drive?

I have a pair of the SC2900's, and I love them. They work fine in Traktor with midi control, but I've just started using them with MixVibes in hybrid mode, and they are brilliant. They also work fine with Denon's engine software, which I used for a good while.

If you don't want to use a laptop, sticking a couple of USB drives in them and link 'em together. If you have an iPad then use the engine app, it's brilliant.

You could always download the timecode signal onto USB if your cd players broken
