Default Has anyone used this for their macbook?

I have two computers at work. I use an Imac and a macbook. I'm looking to purchase a stand for the macbook for my dj sessions so that my laptop doesn't interfere with my set. I saw this cheap one on amazon with amazing reviews. Has anybody use this? How is the setup?

    This is the stand: http://amzn.to/16ptpu3

Me and my buddies are using this one, easy to adjust the height and still cheap as hell compared to the other big name ones.

The Ebay one and the Oddessey are pretty much identical (apart from the shelf) .. Great stand, real shame its so freaking heavy, so not ideal for throwing in the gig bag..

Could also go down this route ...

Only Weighs 5oz, Seriously tough Carbon Fibre and looks to fold down pretty neat .. however it IS more expensive.

I have that very stand. I paid ~£20 for it here in the UK incl. the shelf. The shelf is GREAT for an Audio Interface (right now, I have a Behringer patchbay perched on it!).

I can't recommend it enough. I also have a Stanton Uberstand, which is also great.

BUT - I bought the Uberstand first, and it was very expensive.

If I was buying again, I would DEFINITELY get the cheap stand x2. DEFINITELY.

Cheap, sturdy, and easy to set up. It's not hat heavy, breaks down to a small size, and comes in a sturdy box that is perfect for transport.

    Awesome value for money.

I've lost count of the times that people have asked about these cheap laptop stands (pretty sure me and Patch have answered every one)... It's a no-brainer. They are great and it you dont need to collapse the stand then they are amazing value compared to the Crane (obviously the cranes are awesome).

I have 5 of these stands. I leave them at all my residencies so I dont have to carry them around. Also got 2 in the studio.

Get em for around £15 in the UK
