well i think they are talking about maschine here and better integration .. they have hinted at a powerful sampling solution in one of the on track sessions .. i assume that what they were talking about back then was machine<->traktor integration .. seems like its coming sooner than expected ..

A dedicated Traktor controller from NI? Hot damn!

lsmith, have you even watched the video? He's rocking the Maschine on a different macbook, and at 0:30 you can clearly see 2 new NI-branded controllers.

NI calls it an "Upcoming new Traktor controller". So I dont thing they are "just" talkin about the Maschine integration into Traktor. This is a new big hardware release

looks like it has plenty of buttons to drive those 8 cue points per deck.

Probably designed for those people that pre-grid and pre drop cue and loop points in their songs. I have been/still am thinking about going to a couple of pad controllers and doing that. If everything is pre set up, you dont need jog wheels, just buttons set up to allow you to jump between cue points.
