    Default awesome birthday present

A buddy of mine started up a night at one of the local bars here 2 weeks ago, and has invited me to come spin for as long as I want to this Friday. I've spun a LOT of house parties over the last couple years, but this is my first time playing out. I'm so stoked, no nerves though, I've played in bands before, so the fear of screwing up isn't there.

Wanted to thank the lot of you, practice is what got me here, but DJTT has been the inspiration and the catalyst for getting this whole DJ game rolling.

If anyone from Southern ontario isn't doing anything friday night, PM me for details.

Thanks! Not sure what I want to spin though. I've got freedom to mix as I please, so might be some electro house, but I've been feeling 90s UK jungle lately, and we used to have a decent scene here. Decisions decisions.

If you're unsure just make a couple playlists and spin whatever you're feeling on the night

Absolutely killed it last night. I played for an hour and a half, then my buddy jumped on for an hour or so, and then I went back on for another hour once the place started getting busy, and i packed the dancefloor. Everyone in the bar was dancing and kept coming up to me with high fives. I was pulling cuts I've never done before, bringing tracks in and out and nailed almost every transition. It was all electro house, that's what the people wanted, so that's what they got. Even the owner came up, threw me a handshake, and told to keep it up, I was killing it.
All in all, pretty epic birthday. And even scored a poster with my name on it. Lol
