Default Balance slightly off on Behringer ddm 4000..?

The balance is slightly panned to the left on my behringer ddm4000. when putting the knob to the middle in its groove , its slightly off centered. and the meter reading off balance. is there a way to disable the balance? It came "brand new" like this. Its impossible to get it to read exactly balanced based on the meter readings. Any idea?

Are you using Turntables? This sounds like a common issue that happens with with worn needles.

No. This has everything to do with the mixer

    Dear adammusic,

Thanks for your question about your DDM4000. First, you may want to check to assure your dial is attached properly.

It's possible that the center detent is defective. If the dial still looks off center after you've pulled off the knob, this sounds like a defect. You have a couple of options if this is the case.

    1. You can return to the retailer you purchased it from for an exchange.
    2. You can return to BEHRINGER for warranty service.

If you would like to return directly to BEHRINGER, you may start your claim here:

    Kind Regards,
    Andrew Luck
