I've had the NanoKontrol for about a week and I'm completely won over by it. Although it's light and thin it does the job and feels solid. The mapping in Ableton has endless possiblities. Been playing around with the maps in Ableton and I'm building a perfect set-up for my style. You can customise it so much.

I might get the NanoPad just because I like the look of it. I don't have much use for it in my set-up. I'm still not sure of the best way to have this running. I would most likely use it for launching clips as I'm currently using the Nanokontrol's small buttons for this purpose.

You will have great fun with this though. It's a shame the NanoKey isn't as good quality and has had some bad press. Could have been a nice complete set. I think the Akai equivilent wins hands down. I haven't used it but it looks alot more solid with real keyboard-like keys.

Have fun and enjoy your Nano's.

Just a heads up... im just got my 3rd Set of nanopad due to manufacturing defects. I am selling the one i just got back brand new. Going with the Akai LPD 8 instead. The triggers on the nano get tired pretty quickly.

^^ Yeah one of the pads on my Nanopad crapped out on me after about 4 months. They're pretty notorious for having problems.

I'm buying a Nanokontrol this weekend though, which to me knowledge haven't had the same problems.

    +1 on the pads.
I'm returning mine tomorrow because one of the pads broke in less than a year...
AKAI doesn't sound too bad, wonder if they're better.
I mix stuff on my things...

HEHE! Cool. Glad to see my hard work is paying off. I'm updating the Nano's with new features to add even more control. Keep an eye out.
