More upload time, advanced stats on your sounds, etc. Oh yeah, cool orange star next to your name.

I've given up on Soundcloud and went to Hearthis.at for my promo mixes Of course, for original music production I can see why would you want to be on Soundcloud.

The only con for me is the automatic waveform scanning that SoundCloud uses to try and prevent copyright infringement. It seems to only scan the first few minutes of anything you upload, but I've had 2 or 3 mixes blocked at the point of upload because of it, forcing me to host them elsewhere. Unless that is scrapped (unlikely!), it's only going to get more and more restrictive as time goes on.

But if you don't have copyright issues, I think SoundCloud is by far the best site for sharing your stuff, although I think they took a couple of steps back with the upgrade to the "Next" version.

Ya the new version can be a PITA. I've had upload issues so just use the classic uploader.

I have my own, original tracks blocked for copyright all the time. I mean, literally my own track made from scratch with no one elses material. They're starting to piss me off.
