    Default HELP! Denon MC3000 No MIDI Response

    It was working on VDJ LE for a few hours of mixing when I thought of practicing on some Traktor Effects. Then it happened, Traktor does not respond to the controller commands.

    Thinking that it’s a problem with Traktor, I switched back to VDJ LE. And there it went. No response as well.

    Was using Raycotek’s mappings and tweaked it a bit.
    Not sure what went wrong but can anyone help me with it?
    Or give me and ideas before I throw everything out the window?
    Here’s a video of it:
    My laptop is running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.

    Here’s what I have done so far to try and fix it:
    Uninstall/Reinstall VDJ LE and Traktor 2.6.2.
    Uninstall/Reinstall Denon Asio Driver
    Tested with different TSi’s
    Test on different USB Ports
    MIDI Reset – Shift+Browse

    Reformat my Windows 7 laptop and reinstall all related software and drivers.

    All same result:
    Controller lights responding to changes I make in the software.
    Software not responding to controller midi commands.

    Update:

    I tested with 2 other USB cables. As I read it here: http://www.djtechtools.com/2009/03/0...-pesky-cables/

    It worked for a while on the first (cheap) cable then it stopped. Thinking it was the cable, I purchased an expensive and better one. Still no response.

    I hope someone can help me out.

    If you've tried all of that above, I'd say it's a hardware problem (probably the USB socket). Contact the retailer you bought it from, or Denon directly, you'll probably have to send it off for repair.

    Tried it on other computer? Do you have other MIDI apps running in background?

    @robdquick
    I wanted to contact them but the only way I can is online as I am in the Philippines. I think they ran out of ideas too as they stopped replying back. I think I have to look for a local option to have the usb port checked.

    @Stewe
    I still have to test it with another laptop or pc but I really doubt that it is the laptop as it is working fine with other USB devices and even with the MC3000's mixer section.

    No other MIDI devices or apps that I know of.

    Thanks for the responses guys.
