hey guys just got my hands on the vci 400 ean gold edition... it's awesome!!! but they only problem i seem to be having is with the latency. Currently i have it setting around 43rns which really doesn't seem right?? i was expecting a lot lower ... i really notice the issue when using the jog wheels.... can anyone offer any advice??, thanks in advance

I got 13.9 vs my older s4's 17.6 You need to mess with the sensitivity knobs, at the front of the unit. As well as the adjustment dials, on the jog wheels themselves

I get 7.3 ms on a standard vci-400, it can go lower but my lappy cant handle the higher speed, use the control panel that comes on the cd to change your latency

From what I've read, the optimal use, you want something less than 10ms (scratching, effects). However, anything less than 15ms for regular mixing is fine as well.
