Default Does anyone else get this, when they open Vestax Upater for Mac?

Please Help! Just got my VCI400EG When I plug it into
my mac and open the Vestax updater, it says

    Device :VCI-400
    Audio Firmware : vFF.FF ??????
    MIDI Firmware : v07.02

Is this even correct? Feels like I may have updated or changed the wrong file

If anyone can help me. I'd really appreciate it

    Hey,

Have you checked the support page for the VCI-400 EGE:
    https://techtools.zendesk.com/forums...666-VCI-400-EG

It helped me when first setting mine up, was a while back so I don't remember exactly what I had to do. I just followed the instructions for updating the firmware and have not had any issues with the 400 since.

    Cheers

    Yeah me too,
I tried to install the Serato DJ firmware on to my VCI-400EGE and it's MIDI firmware has been stuck in (v07.02)

Since the unit shipped with Serato intro.. I didn't think it would hurt to try to run Serato DJ. I knew I was risking the DJTT mapping

but I didn't think it would be so hard to revert it back to original MIDI firmware.

The AUDIO firmware shows up on mine tho... & I can change the AUDIO firmware.
Just the MIDI firmware is stuck @ v07.02
I need to try alternate PCs & on windows XP still but I've tried repeatedly on my mac & on windows 7
and it fails about half way through the midi update.

Got it working.. My problem was that I was using a Sony Vaio to update it and Vestax announced that the Sony Vaio does not communicate properly with midi. Due to the webcam interfering with the signal. Thank you though
