    Default Midi Files in Ableton

    Guys, I'll keep this simple..

I'm trying to work on a remix and the producer created the track in FL, well, the .mid file he gave me won't open in Ableton 9 and I can't figure out why... Happened to me on two separate occasions already... I read it may have something to do with the way the files were exported, but I can't narrow it down since I'm not an FL user...

Anyone have any info on what to do here?

    Thanks

I was right, I guess the kid exported then files from FL in a way that Ableton can't recognize.
