    I hate hate hate itunes. I use Foobar2000, check it out. Very simple and great sounding app for playing music on windows and have been using it for years. Full skinnable and moddable to whatever you like, its pretty amazing.

    Long time hater of iTunes here...

    BUT - now I use if specifically for Smart Playlists. I never use it for playing media (VLC user) - but for sorting tunes, it's actually alright.

    All my tagging, etc, is done in MP3Tag. One tracks are tagged, they're imported to my iTunes library, where they are automatically added to the relevant Smart Playlists, and then they show up in traktor under the Playlists in the iTunes node.

    Until Traktor implements it's own version of Smart Playlists, I'l have to keep using iTunes.

    not an iTunes fan either... prefer having tracks sorted in folders, genre wise
