You'll need a decent amp to properly drive them, on the budget end worth checking out the cambridge audio stuff, check out richer sounds always have good deals on.

I got a pair of Technics SL1210s for £290 from a 'Cash converters' 18 months ago.
They needed a bit of cosmetic work and rca cables changing but look mint now and work perfectly !!

    Will post a piccy later

When I got my first pair of beat up crappy Numark turntables in college, they came with a free pair of Shure Whitelabel cartridges and nearly new needles... cause the guy who sold me the turntables had inherited the carts from an old roomate and didn't know they were worth anything
    I play house music!

They're Serato Scratch Live timecodes. I'm thinking of getting some traktor ones but I perform with Scratch Live, I use traktor with multiple midi controllers it's more for bedroom performances, sampling and bedroom DJ fun (parties). In my case that's what I really use it for.

Got my DJM-2000 for 1250$CAN almost a year ago. You couldn't find one for under 2000$ at that point, you still can't find one at that price I think. I love this baby!
