    This looks kind of fun!

Does anyone have in intel on whether or not the step sequencer runs on the hardware, or if it just runs through a VST?

EDIT: If it DOES run on the hardware, then I'm amazed at how many controllers / devices are Thomas' Digital Warrior.
Four faders and four encoders, that almost begs to be mapped to some sample decks in Traktor, no?

The idea behind this is great.

I'm not so sure about the execution, though.

    That is one fugly controller.

Honestly, no. I would love to see a Triggerfinger Pro and Triggerfinger Air from m-audio.
The original triggerfinger was awesome because it was relatively small, but still retained very useful features. Want to combine 4 of these à-la-joe hahn? Nope, space's wasted with that sequencer.
It just has TOO MUCH STUFF. There are already MPCs and Maschines around with tons of buttons and faders. But i've yet to see a simple, 4x4 matrix pad controller with no frills.

I have. But the mpd18 is on the other side of things, too basic.
The original triggerfinger i had was amazing because it had everything one needed. Not more, not less.
It's a shame it broke and i can't really find any good deals on a sealed one..

And yes, before you ask, the mpd26 is too big imo.

I concur this looks dope. A new contender to the Maschine methinks.
