You can use the effects by routing audio as live input in traktor instead of a track deck. You won't be able to use looping or cue points (besides with your cdj) and time based effects would be unreliable at best. However,other effects can have good results. And the filters knobs can work with out a computer.

I don't think that helps him. If I understood him correct I think he wants to use no laptops and just CDs and USB.

trade your z2 for an analog mixer with built in effects is what i would suggest. like a a&h xone 42 or denon x1100 or a pio djm 700 do some research u should be able to find one.
