Default Need advice on buying an electronic drum pad for live DJing

    Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone of you own or have knowledge of a good electronic drum pad that professionals use during DJ sets? I am a seasoned drummer and have been thinking of adding this to my DJing performances for some time.

I have been searching and searching, but I cannot seem to find a decent pad which has the ability to use sounds from your own laptop...and this is one of the big things I really want because I want to make use of all the one shot drum effects/sounds I have from vengeance samples/sound banks/etc.

Does anyone know of a good pad that has this? If not what are the good rum pads out there that people are using?
    Thanks

Hmm this seems interesting, but I am really looking for something that can be played with drumsticks, not button mechanics..

I think THIS is more what you're after:

Something that you can hit with sticks!

Stick this on a stand and you're good to go!
